Provisions in the House
Initially the house is stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, tissues, toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel. There is also a selection of spices and condiments available in the kitchen.

Wanaka
(approx. 20 minute drive, turn left at the bottom of the hill onto Hwy 6)
There are two New World supermarkets, one in Dunmore Street and one in the Three Parks development area. Supermarkets in Central Otago sell alcohol.
The Mediterranean (Med) Market is located on Ardmore Street near the roundabout and carries more exotic ingredients than can be found in the supermarket. It has an in-house butcher and a good supply of fresh vegetables and herbs (https://www.facebook.com/medmarketnz).
Wanaka has a farmer’s market every Thursday between 4-6pm. The location can vary so check their website. https://www.facebook.com/wanakafarmersmarket .
Cromwell
(approx. 30 minute drive, turn right at the bottom of the hill onto Hwy 6)
New World supermarket on the corner of Waenga Drive and Murray Terrace.
The Fridge Bucher in the mall has some more interesting cuts.
The Central Otago Farmers’ Market is held every Sunday from late October until the end of February, 9 am – 1 pm in historic Old Cromwell Town.
Cromwell is a fruit growing region and has many fruit stalls selling seasonal produce (cherries, raspberries, apricots apples etc).
Queenstown
(approx. 1 hour drive, leave the house as for Cromwell then carry on past Cromwell)
Remarkables Park is near to the airport and has a New World supermarket. Just follow the signs to Remarkables Park at the first round- about when you exit the airport.
File Mile Park is on the way from the airport to Hill House, it has a range of shops including a Countdown supermarket.
